Dear Readers,

2013 has started beautifully for our organisation. The first half of the year has really raced past with lots of changes, challenges and achievements. In the forthcoming months we aim to see greater contribution of our members and creating larger impact in our community.

As young active citizens we have a responsibility towards our society. JCI provides us the right platform to make positive contributions of another kind to the environment we live in. It enables us to turn our passion into action. But this not only require positive thinking but it goes far more than that, what is required is WILLPOWER. The courage to take a step ahead, DARE to ACT and make a difference.

For me it is particularly pleasing to be able to document the achievements of our members, report on the positive developments on several projects and bring to your attention new initiatives which have broadened our organisation’s focus.

I wish to convey my profound and heartfelt thanks to all members and friends who have contributed in delivering this first edition of the Jaycee Eye.
