2013 JCI Vice PresidentDear JCI Members,

I would like to extend sincere greetings to you as you meet and usher in new members into our noble organisation. Beginning of this year you have all shown commitment, unity and exhibited true spirit of service that has won you some recognitions, and I want to share this excitement with all of you.

As JCI members, we have the responsibility to be proactive in order meet the growing needs of our communities. This is an opportunity to build momentum in advancing the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs), and be a strong advocate for building a better world. I take pride in our work by collaborating with partners at all levels, creating sustainable positive change.

As an organization of young active citizens, we must also look beyond 2015. Since there has been much progress to advance the MDGs, there is still much work to be done. I encourage existing and incoming members of JCI Curepipe to take an active role in sharing your voice to create a vision of what you want the world to look like after 2015. Through our collaborative efforts and as we position our organization to create one unified voice for young people, we must participate in this process to create a better world for our future.

I thank you for your dedication and I am glad to have met, shared and exchange with most of you during my official visit.

Most of all, I encourage each and every one of you to Dare to Act!

Abraham Nana Kow Acquaye
2013 JCI Vice President
