Dear Readers,

It is my pleasure as an aspiring member to join the JCI community eNewsletter as the new editor and to join efforts with the JCI members to bring you the last edition of our 2020 Newsletter series.

2020 has been a challenging time for all of our members, we got to face the Covid situation and further down the journey we got to affront the Wakashio oil spill. However, together with all the JCI Curepipe members, stronger than ever we got through all obstacles. We are proud to announce that we won the most outstanding Local Organisation, Most Outstanding Local President and Best Global Goals planting 2000 Aloe plants during the JCI Africa and the middle east conference. We also want to congratulate Sakshi Dewoo and her team in winning the JCI Mauritius Debate competition and aspiring member Kooshila Sarahye for being a runner up for JCI Mauritius Public Speaking Championship.

Today,  we are bringing to you some announcements and articles highlight for the 3rd edition of the 2020 Newsletter.

As we are reaching the end of 2020, our members can be glad about everything they achieved together as a team. All the knowledge and skills they gained and also the friendship they obtained.

I wish to express my heartfelt thanks to everybody who contributed in the launch of this newsletter.

Special thanks to our Local President Kishan Rughobar , Immediate Past President Karishma Ansaram and Local secretary Satiam Gokool for their support and collaboration on this edition

I wish you a pleasant time reading through the Newsletter.
