Dear Readers,

It is a great honour and privilege for me to launch the second edition Newsletter 2020 of JCI Curepipe.

JCI Mission is “To provide development opportunities that empower young people to create positive change.”  Being the Newsletter Editor was indeed a development opportunity for me.  In this regard, I would like to thank 2020 Immediate Past President Karishma Ansaram for encouraging me to take up this opportunity.

This edition will be allocated to online events as well as projects during and post Covid-19 pandemic. Some projects like Kids for Peace project have now been relaunched.  Members and aspiring members have learnt a lesson from the pandemic and indeed their priority is to make their projects a success.

Since our 2020 theme is “Awakening the Youth”, members of JCI will keep on working to create positive and sustainable change to society.

I wish to express my sincere gratitude to all the members who contributed writing articles.

Special thanks to 2020 Marketing Director Dwijesh Appiah and 2020 Local President Kishan Rughobur for their guidance and invaluable support.
