JCI Beau Bassin/ Rose Hill

It is with immense pleasure that I am conveying my message to JCI Curepipe. JCI Beau-Bassin/Rose-Hill would like to first congratulate JCI Curepipe for the amazing job you are doing for the 2019 JCI Africa and Middle East Conference. We are looking forward for a memorable and impactful conference.

JCI Beau-Bassin/Rose-Hill kicked start the year with a members meeting and team building activity with its members to create the brotherhood among members and aspiring members. We organized a workshop on Aquaponics to give insights about this sustainable way of producing crops. We had participations from all the Local Chapters and member of the public.

We are collaborating with partners in Cite Barkly and Cite Chebec for our National ACF Project which is based on Neighbourhood watch. We have our first presentation scheduled for the 17th of April 2019.

This year, JCI Beau-Bassin/Rose-Hill has been entrusted the responsibility to host the 2019 JCI Mauritius The Outstanding Young Person (TOYP) award. The project was already started in January 2019 under the Project Director Marie-Luce. We will be having our press conference very soon. So stay tuned for more updates from JCI Beau-Bassin/Rose-Hill.

We look forward to work together with all the Local Chapters to create positive change. Let’s Act More to Become More.

JCI Port Louis

Its an immense joy to write a few words for the readers of the JCI Curepipe newsletter. The relation between JCI Port Louis and JCI Curepipe goes back to the time when JCI Mauritius was created in 1984. The two organisations as pillars of JCI Mauritius have always walked side by side. As twin organisation, they both celebrate their anniversaries together and mutually help each other in their respective projects and activities.
JCI Curepipe has been remarkable in the work they are doing; from training for development opportunities of their members to the hosting of the 2019 Africa and Middle East Conference, their whole team is focused on creating opportunities. With their 2019 motto “Create your opportunities” as their beacon moving forward and their recent strategic planning process, JCI Curepipe can take great pride in its achievement. This year as we both celebrate our 35th anniversary along with JCI Mauritius, we re-strengthen our bond for a better JCI in line with our organisation’s principles, vision and mission. I wish them success in the continuity of their amazing work and look forward navigating alongside with them.
