First and foremost, THANK YOU!

Thank you for the great opportunity to present to you the 2017’s first Edition of the Jaycee Eye. I am truly humbled to be part of this experience and to be part of the great family that JCI Curepipe is.

2017 has started off with a lot of promises, with a lot of hope and with a lot of ardent belief from all of us to make a difference in our world. And this is exactly what we have been doing at JCI Curepipe.

Be it on the smallest level or through the smallest of actions, our members have consciously made the choice to be active citizens. We might disagree at times on ways in which we work but the intention to leave a steady legacy is there. And this is what matters at the end of the day.

In this Edition of our newsletter, you will go through some exceptional and personal insights from various members in regards to the different projects they have undertaken.

JCI Curepipe is truly a great platform for self-development, for community empowerment and everything we wish to make it into.

So as Mark Twain once said: ‘Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do, so throw off the bowlines, sail away from safe harbour, catch the trade winds in your sails.  Explore, Dream, Discover.’

My sincere gratitude and thanks goes to 2017 Local President Veerendra for his unfailing support in making this Edition a success, 2017 Local Treasurer Satiam, 2017 Local Vice President Lokhesh and 2017 Immediate Past President Viloshna, for always being a call or a message away.  Indeed, together we can!
