Dear Readers,

32 years!!! Yes, 32 years of positive impact already. Today, on this Saturday 5^th November 2016, we complete the 32^nd year of existence of JCI Curepipe. Happy birthday JCI Curepipe.

It is indeed an immense pleasure for me to present this anniversary newsletter edition.

As beautifully documented in our first and second newsletter editions, 2016 has been a year of massive impact under the leadership of our Local President Viloshna Sonoo supported by an army of motivated young active citizens. This issue continues to highlight how JCI Curepipe is reaching for the stars through its various projects in our community from July 2016 to this week.

As usual, we will start with the traditional message of our empowering 2016 Local President Viloshna Sonoo. Then, we will for a short while perform a Code Lyoko trick and turn back our clocks to see what our fellow Jaycees have been doing.

I would highly recommend you have a look at the inspiring articles on our Peace is Possible Campaign where our Miracle Lady Karishma Ansaram accompanied by her awesome and dedicated team have contributed towards the achievement of peace. You shall also appreciate the sharing of our new aspiring members on their JCI objectives as well as our Local President’s sharing on the JCI African Youth Development Summit recently held in Nairobi, Kenya. Our friend Guiovanni has also shared his passion for the mind-mapping technique; a unique way for learning.

2016 has been full of impactful projects and I feel so honoured to document these gems for you people. I also seize this opportunity to welcome all the aspiring members and wish you a fruitful JCI career.

I thank my editorial team comprising of Rakshith, Anishah, Krish-Nee and Satiam who have been really committed and hardworking to make this edition a success. I also express my gratitude to all those who helped in making this edition a great one and to 2016 Local President Viloshna for her guidance and support.
