I joined JCI Curepipe as aspiring member since April 2016, and swore-in as member during AMESA Summit. Till now I had the chance to work on Peace is Possible Campaign and currently leading Active Citizen Framework Project with full support of our dynamic Local President Viloshna and fellow team members.

For me involving with JCI is more than just an early life organisation. Since I joined the JCI journey, what I found distinctive; we think, work and live together as a family to make better things happen. I have also the opportunity to work with team members from different upbringings where they interpret thoughts differently but at the end I found everyone equivalent because we shared single vision “working together to bring positive change in the society”.

Today I can proudly say am part of JCI brilliant circle. Hats off the inspiration members share with me which is motivating me day by day moulding me into a better individual. What I would say with no hesitation is that JCI bonding makes us think more selflessly.

I would also like to thank JCI Curepipe for electing me as Local Secretary for 2017; I believe there is no magic formula to the accomplishment and sustainability of our organization, we just need collaboration of members in creating lasting memories.

I would encourage any youngster to join JCI’s wonderful journey. It is the right platform if someone wants to build more confidence and bring positive change. If an aspiring member will take JCI earnestly then JCI is definitely the path to help you progressing forward.

There is still a long way to go but I honestly trust that with the continuous support of our JCI family, we shall keep our flags flying high in the sky.
